Robert Martin, 20, broke into a home on January 13th in Mercer County Pennsylvania (about 50 miles north of Pittsburgh).  Martin stole knives, jewelry, an answering machine and a several other items.  A neighbor recognized Martin coming out of the home and called police.

Just like all stupid criminals do – Martin screwed-up on some of the simplest details of his crime plan.  First of all, he went to to burglarize in a neighborhood where other people knew him (and had his ugly mug recognized by one of them).  Secondly – he stole an answering machine? But the most ridiculous thing about his crime was that he had his mommy drive him to the burglarized home.

Mommy, 50-year old Judith Martin has been ordered to stand trial on burglary charges for giving her son a ride to the crime scene.  (The stupid procreate and bring forth stupid offspring).
