Last week, a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan apparently felt sorry about the bank robbery that he pulled off. The PNC Bank in West Newton Pennsylvania (20 miles southeast of Pittsburgh) was robbed on December 9th and then last week, the bank received an envelope in the mail. The envelope was filled with money (separated into stacks of fives, tens, twenties, and one hundreds).
The FBI never said how much money was actually stolen during the robbery but they said that the money in the envelope was about 80 percent of the amount taken. Officials said that they believe that the robber is from the area because of the fact that he was wearing a yellow Pittsburgh Steelers . . .
t-shirt during the robbery. The envelope is now being checked for finger prints and fragments of the “Terrible Towel“. It is assumed that the missing 20 percent is being set aside to pay for wagers on upcoming Steeler loses.
