Piano great, Jerrry Lee Lewis had a bit of a run in with police in November of 1976. He was in front of Elvis Presley‘s home (Graceland) in Memphis, Tennessee and was demanding to see Elvis.
Besides acting drunk and irrational, 41 year old Lewis was waiving a gun around (which caused some alarm considering his nickname was “The Killer”). A Graceland guard called police and after the officers arrived, he was arrested and charged with public drunkenness (the list of drunk celebrities, intoxicated Santa Clauses and plastered dress-wearing 4 year olds just keeps getting bigger!).
