Burress, convicted on a weapons charge of carrying an unlicensed handgun, just started his 2 year jail term for committing one of the stupidest crimes any multimillion dollar athlete could commit (stupid for anyone actually).
It was just your average party evening for the Superbowl hero when he was at a New York City nightclub drinking and dancing the night away. That’s when things went wrong – the loaded and unlicensed handgun tucked away in his sweatpants accidentally went off and shot him in the leg – ouch!!
The whole situation leads to many questions. Questions like: What was he doing with a loaded gun? Why didn’t he have it registered? Why didn’t he have the safety on and most of all – why was he wearing sweatpants at a nightclub?

Michael Gainey was arrested in Pensacola Florida last week for impersonating a law enforcement officer. 
According to the news release from the sheriff’s office, 30 year old Gainey approached some teenagers in the parking lot of a local convenience store and told them that he was a police officer. He proceeded to search one of the teens and told another one to take a urine test.
No badge was shown to the teens but they believed that he [click to continue…]
